Nippon Lift Korea Co. establishes second factory; YH Industry Co., Ltd. completes new factory;
commences nationwide sales including manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of cargo elevators, leading new growth industries.

Nippon Lift Korea Co., a specialist elevator manufacturer, establishes a second factory and begins another leap forward as YH Industry Co., Ltd. by manufacturing specialized freight elevators.
Approximately 300 people attended the completion ceremony of YH Industry Co., Ltd. held on the 21st, including National Assembly member Park Jung, former Paju Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Kwon In-wook, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation Paju Branch Manager Kim Jeong-hwan, Industrial Bank of Korea Paju Branch Manager Yoo Sang-gu, KB Kookmin Bank Central 6pg Headquarters Director Choi Won-young, Gyeonggi Convergence Association Northern Branch Paju Convergence Chairman Pi Eun-ho, Papyeong-myeon Head On Myeong-won, Gyeonggi Residents of the Five Northern Provinces Association Yoon Il-young, Shinhan University Graduate School Paju Alumni Association Chairman Im Woo-young, Jeonju Lee Clan Im Eon-gun Branch Chairman Lee Nam-woo, Paju City Saemaul Association Chairman Kim Gyeong-seon, and Papyeong-myeon Dupori Businessmen’s Association Chairman Heo Dal-wook.
Lee Kyung-eun, CEO of YH Industry Co., Ltd. and a second-generation business leader, said, “Amidst a difficult business environment both domestically and internationally, I will work hard and learn together with Chairman Lee Yeon-geun with the spirit of a second founding, and take on new challenges.”

Chairman Lee Yeon-geun continued in his completion speech, “I would like to thank Congressman Park Jung and everyone else who attended today despite their busy schedules. I also thank my family, siblings, business partners, members, friends, and seniors and juniors who have been with us to make this day possible.”

YH Industry Co., Ltd. was constructed as Nippon Lift Korea Co.’s second factory on the factory site with an area of ​​4,958.6㎡ (1,500 pyeong) and 2,975.2㎡ (900 pyeong).
Going forward, Nippon Lift Korea Co. and YH Industry will grow into specialized companies that manufacture, install, and maintain passenger and freight elevators.
He emphasized, “I will once again not lose sight of my original intentions, place importance on relationships with people, and continue to grow.”
In his congratulatory remarks, Assemblyman Park Jung said, “I sincerely congratulate YH Industry Co., Ltd. on the completion ceremony and wish them great success. I heard that YH is the only place in Paju that directly manufactures and sells freight elevators. I also heard that there are not many such places nationwide.” He added, “If the machine performance is recognized, it will be a huge success. Following CEO Lee Yeon-geun, who has sold passenger elevators for a long 21 years, CEO Lee Kyung-eun will also become a successful CEO.”
Kwon In-wook, Chairman of the Gyeonggi Northern Chapter of the Community Chest of Korea (and former Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce), said, “I started the second-generation business leaders’ gathering during my tenure as Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, and now it has come to fruition.”
“I hope that YH Industry will become a second-generation business leader that achieves greater development and growth than the parents’ generation through the natural succession of the family business, and contributes to community service and development. I send my heartfelt applause for this new beginning,” he said.
Yoon Il-young, Chairman of the Gyeonggi Provincial Residents of the Five Northern Provinces, said, “I hope that YH Industry Co., Ltd. will grow into a specialized elevator company and achieve endless development.”
Plaques of appreciation were also awarded to four companies, including Seongho General Construction, Dam Architects, Sejin Surveying, and Yejin Architects, for their contribution to the construction of the second factory.
